I’ve always yearned to explore Australia and New Zealand and when my friend & coworker said he was heading Down Under to work for 2 months I jumped at the opportunity to join him. We spent the holidays and January basking in the hot sun in Perth, hanging out with the quokkas on Rottnest, and meeting some hoppy kangaroos. We flew east and visited Sidney and Melbourne and drove the Great Ocean Road before jetting over to Middle Earth. In New Zealand we rented a campervan and with another buddy we rambled around the South Island for a few weeks from Abel Tasman to Queenstown to the Milford Sound. Australia and New Zealand are massive meccas of adventure and I cannot wait to return and explore more!
