The continent of Africa has been on my must-visit-list for years but it never worked out. Being such a large landmass I thought that I needed a dedicated trip to see multiple locations and really get a feel for the region, but finally I had the opportunity to catch a flight to the northern tip of Africa so I could exit Europe and save my Schengen days for a trade show in Germany. My trip to Marrakesh didn’t exactly pan out as I’d planned and I spent most of my time in the Medina sick and sequestered in my studio apartment, but when I boarded my flight to Munich I knew that my interest in the African continent had sprouted and it’s only a matter of time before I return.
